The same place you're getting your info from and saying it's been "confirmed" is Neogaf, this has also been posted pointing out it's a different time of day and shadows fall in different spots -

So asking where are the reflections when it's a different time of day, and the sun isn't shining in the same spot is absurd especially since we have a ton of gameplay that shows the cars glistening with reflections.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that those beta screens are super sampled and photoshopped. NO WAY it looks that good.
