I always thought that would be a plan. Didn't think it would be THE PLAN. I was thinking they might use Seth like they used Nikki Bella, to wipe out Punk's streak. Had to nix it because they won't let the kid cook. They're trying to make him a neutered Haitch and wow, is it boring as hell.

So the plan is Rock goes over Seth at Rumble....but!!!..Lesnar wins the Rumble as maybe a surprise mid entry 13-18 (it won't be as impressive to clear ring at 27 or plausible to win at 1-5 being a main target). Just a hope we get Bryan coming back (probs not gonna happen), to somehow eliminate Reigns, and one of them turns heel during a feud.

Enough of the fantasy booking. Brock v Rock is going to happen at WM. I don't know how you found this story lol.

Perfect setup would be after the HIAC blowoff, with Lesnar and Rollins confidently defeating their opponents, Seth is in the ring bragging about his legacy or A.B.C.Dumbshyt like his kayfabe mentor used to. Then Brock's music plays. Heyman comes out and says that Undertaker ruined his rematch that he was one second from winning. Heyman then challenges Rollins for Survivor Series. Seth is speechless as usual and is just about to answer when.....IF YOU SMELL!!!

Rock lays out the case that he never got his rematch from Cena due to injury and making movies. Now he is back, and he should get the slot over one that had his chance and blew it. Haitch, after the show's worth of deliberation and getting threatened by Lesnar, gives challenge to Rock. Normally, you'd find a way to have a 3 way match to protect the real money match, but outside of feud fighting and a few token tag teams, the two should have a long burn involving a few up and comers from the roster.

Maybe it's a good time to have Cesaro challenge Lesnar as should have been the real Heyman guy at Summerslam (but Cesaro doesn't care anymore). Cesaro pumps his credentials and what he had done, and all he ever heard about was Brock and Undertaker, even from his "mentor". I say this should be the next Raw. Heyman's out with Brock selling him t the moon and Brock's there again to show how much of an injustice it is, Cesaro comes out and really tries to bury both of them and becomes the first wrestler to EVER challenge Brock Lesnar. Makes a great double main event and gets Cesar that first glimpse into real superstardom everyone with a brain is crowing about.

It's also a perfect way to get an official double turn (like Cesaro isn't face already). It would seem Lesnar is detracted by Cesaro, but ruins Rock's chance to win at Survival Series through DQ. Cesaro makes a great showing at SS in a losing effort. Lesnar may have hit the referee to get suspended in the Rollins/Rock match until the Royal Rumble surprise psycho entry.

See, it ain't that dammed hard to create multiple main events that people can get invested in. All you need is glue, and a circular motion to bring other superstars into the orbitals with long term planning and constant real rivalries. This was done to bear perfection in the Angle era, as there seemed to always be credible stars gunning for the belt. It protected stars like Rock from being overexposed. You start doing this with every belt, and now Cena has made the US belt credible, it's a WIN or stay home mentality.

Have Team Wyatt vs Team Shield+ at Summerslam with NXT call ups being the 5th members for each team (even if it's temporary- would be a good time to give Erick Roman something to do if you're gonna keep him and bounce him down to NXT after). Then have Rock team with Roman for Armageddon if Rock's up for it. Create feuds again through dressing room encounters, just make every PPV as original as possible, while also pushing multiple stars to the same main event goal.
