One Half of the Bludgeon Brothers, Luke Harper

This week, the Strappers were joined by a man who is not only one half of the Bludgeon Brothers, but also a member of Christian's fantasy hockey league, Luke Harper!

Luke talked about making the assumption that the WWE wouldn't sign him (and how he reacted when they did), his run with the Wyatt family, building chemistry with Rowan, and his aspiration of one day becoming WWE champion.

Also, E&C weighed in on whether it's time for a women's tag division, and remembered the lives of Brian Christopher, Nikolai Volkoff, and Brickhouse Brown.

NXT's Ricochet, Tommmaaaayyyy, and Lenny Dykstra

This week, the Strappers welcomed one of the most athletic and acrobatic wrestlers on earth, NXT's Ricochet. Ricochet talked about his love of NXT and debuting in a ladder match, getting to pick the brain of Shawn Michaels on a regular basis, and the unique nature of working on Lucha Underground.

And before talking with Ricochet, E&C gave Tommayyy a call to hear about his latest Tales From the Indies. Here's the thing, though--Tommayy wasn't alone. Halfway through the call he tagged in a surprise guest, one of the most infamous players in MLB history and a man whose nickname mirrors that of a 90s WWF wrestler, Lenny Dykstra (AKA Nails). Yes, I'll say it again; Tommay and Lenny Dykstra joined the show together. It was pretty unbelievable.

Also, Edge talks about Betty Phoenix calling The Mae Young classic with Renee Young and Michael Cole and, as promised, Flip Sunset shows up to cut a promo.

Mauro Ranallo! Plus, Previews of NXT Takeover and Summerslam

This week, the Strappers caught up with a fellow Canadian, and a man whose passion for the wrestling business is both immense and contagious, NXT announcer Mauro Ranallo. Mauro talked through some of the matches we'll be seeing this weekend at Takeover and Summerslam, before explaining why, in the age of social media and short attention spans, the Gargano-Ciampa feud is so special.

The trio also covered Ranallo's lengthy resume, which includes time as the voice of Pride, Bellator, Showtime Boxing, and WWE's Smackdown. It was a great chat.

Plus, E&C remembered their own Summerslam experiences and paid tribute to Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, who we lost earlier this week.

Rest in Power, Anvil.

NXT's Adam Cole, BAY BAY!

This week, after the Birdman got tapped by Shawn Michaels (no big deal) to cover some of his classes at the Performance Center, the Strappers were able to speak with one of Christian's students--Adam Cole BAY BAY! Among a variety of topics, Cole covered the moment he fell in love with pro wrestling, his gift for cutting a great promo, and becoming the inaugural NXT North American Champion during a six-man ladder match.

Also E&C reviewed Hell in a Cell, and caught up with the creator of Headlocked comics, Mike Kingston.

I don't know how anyone can listen to this shyt.

They tell corny ass white dad jokes, are real close to the mic one week, real far away the next, and never have anything groundbreaking to say.
