op sounds like one of those "obama ain't did shyt for blacks" types. one of those people that bought into trump's "you ain't shyt anyway, so what do you have to lose voting for me" types.
Lol, no

Not a fan of Obama in office, his policies, views or agendas he pushed:hhh:
But I like him, in general:ehh:

this is a loaded question with a very complex answer.
:francis: only if your answer is difficult to fit into the facts.
the economic policies you see today come from your state/local gov and overarching policies, laws, codes, regulations put forth by congress, the potus, and the people he appoints. for example, whoever heads the cfpb will have an impact on consumer protections that impact those most at risk for financial shenanigans (like black people).
:ehh:So this instead of financial literacy?

if you want to talk about tax code, eeoc, state's rights, healthcare, etc, that impact black people economically....there is no argument that can be made towards the conservative/gop economic agenda being better for black people.
Black people (in general) aren't any more affected by tax policy... Lol, most nikkas get good refunds and are actually benefactors of both Cons and lib policies.
I guess if Anti States rights means protecting black people from Kkk then, I guess.

Healthcare- liberals aren't the only ones who push single payer. This isnt gop vs dem- its those in the pocket of Big Pharma which includes most Dems as well.

Some say...... That business related VS social dependant (liberal) policies would be good for black males in the long run- as opposed to the social policies we have now that Still increase wealth gaps and still keep us mostly dependant anyway:dame:may as well call the GOV daddy.

if you're not open to all that's involved in economic considerations you should probably stick with whatever your assumptions are about "liberal policies" and leave the heavy lifting to the rest of us
:ohhh:Youre out here creating policy

I grew up like any other person....
I mean generally, because I have 5 sons and 6 brothers and over 30 black male friends....13 black male cousins. And I live in the hood (by choice)

I'm wondering.
Last time. Are you talking about whats best for you personally, or black males generally?

Op isn't interested in having an honest conversation

@DEAD7 getting his c00n on bright and early

:mjlol:
@DEAD7 ... I want to know his POV too.

And why wouldn't I want an honest convo about this ? I'm a black male, as opposed to being a zionist Jew^ (cough).... So this issue concerns me.

Like I said, you'll have to define what you mean by "liberal economic policies".

That's a pretty broad spectrum, and words like "liberal", "Democrat", "Republican", and "conservative" in the current political climate apparently mean whatever people want them to mean. :francis:

I'm also not finna go over every left-leaning economic policy in an itemized list and explain how each one helps or hurts black males. :denzelcmonson:

What policies are you talking about? :hhh:
Avoid the gop dem stuff.

Just liberal social and economic policies.
Which ever ones you think are beneficial.. Name em..
Like more government oversight
More business taxes
Higher min wage
More regulation on industries
Economics more focused around public interest
Social welfare and more social welfare
Public over charter education
Energy
Abortion funding

Im not necessarily against these... I just have the Question.

Neither side of the isle is interested in the advancement of black men.
The left has just figured out how to get blacks to cooperate:wow:
Not the political isle

Just economic liberal views.
How are they beneficial?

Or what is?

:ehh:So this instead of financial literacy?

financial literacy is not a policy. but access to financial literacy is impacted by policy. guess who's policies promote financial literacy for blacks more thoroughly....

Black people (in general) aren't any more affected by tax policy... Lol, most nikkas get good refunds and are actually benefactors of both Cons and lib policies.

wrong. you're obviously not paying attn to the trump tax plan and how it would impact middle to lower class people.

I guess if Anti States rights means protecting black people from Kkk then, I guess.

lol..breh..thats the extent of your understanding of how states rights impact black people? :francis:

Healthcare- liberals aren't the only ones who push single payer. This isnt gop vs dem- its those in the pocket of Big Pharma which includes most Dems as well.

wrong again. this gop isn't interested in supporting a market that makes universal access available at affordable costs for all.

Some say...... That business related VS social dependant (liberal) policies would be good for black males in the long run- as opposed to the social policies we have no that Still increase wealth gaps and still keep us mostly dependant anyway:dame:may as well call the GOV daddy.

:hubie: i believe that social dependency hasnt helped black men , in general. I believe in Strong black businesses.

With our current situation we may remain .... Stagnant.

There are many conservatives pushing for single payer. The gop isnt, but Im not talking about the gop. Every wealthy nation has it and most of those are pro business. But both GOP and Dems Are in Big Pharma and Health care pockets- thats why we dont have it.

I'll revisit states rights and black people later on:gucci:

Some say the trump tax plan will be a transfer of wealth back to the already rich. I don't agree. I dont agree with his plan, but I also dont agree that any of the lib or conservative plans will really affect the average black person. I mean, 1k either way... Its not like nikkas will be missing 50k in itemized deductions n shyt. :comeon:

I dont agree with the Death, estate tax. Thats 1 thing the gop will get rid of.
I am Undecided on the AMT (basically we all pay more than a fair share if you arent broke)....
Seems the middle class would get a cut and more standard deduction:hubie:
I'm not seeing how it hurts poor Americans, even though it most def helps high middle n upper class more

Varies,
I have investments, about 14 properties
Couple businesses

I do okay, not wealthy.

Why?
i take it since you think trickle down economics is the best then that means you acquired this wealth (if you have 14 properties and a couple businesses and just doing "okay" then either you're overly modest or lying) during the bush years and live in a state dominated by republicans. so what is working for you with fiscal conservative orthodoxy that you feel could help a breh in another state dominated by damn liberals and suffering through the progressive federal tax code. since you're where we want to be you must have some insight.

:whoa: in this nation... Anyone who isnt legit Wealthy is in the same boat. The top 10 20 percent of people control most of the wealth.

If you live in a state like that.... Register you a business immediately in Delware (or place like that).... That is friendly to business.
Do funny things with your investments... Like maybe cryto coins or investment accounts.
Each time you get ANY MONEYZ FROM anywhere, drop a percent into investments.
If your state has a developing area (basically may be gentrified soon) get lots, houses, anything you can get ur hands on... I don't like the premise of CAC gentrification, but if you cant stop it... Eat off it.
Take advantage of the times of bush n trump and even obama- these are the eating yrs. Some yrs aren't.

:manny:But really I don't have real insight... Im not a finance or business expert. I just didn't wanna work for anyone.. And I took risk on investments and land development. I don't actually know more than the average nikka- if he believes in his intuition:dame:

-More government oversight: It depends. If you mean government oversight of businesses, I certainly approve of governmental crackdown on payday loans, title loans, and other types of high interest, short term financing. These places are slimy debt traps and harm black financial advancement. Ever wonder why you see them predominately in areas with a high minority population? :bpthink:

-More business taxes: It depends. This is a pretty broad point; are we talking about corporate taxes or small business taxes? Federal, state, or local?
-Higher min wage: I believe there is a financial and moral incentive to paying workers more. :kanyebp:
-More regulation on industries: :kanyebp:
-Economics more focused around public interest:
I believe business-centered economic thought has been more harmful than helpful in the long run.
-Social welfare and more social welfare: Last time I looked at the evidence, there is little reason to believe that social welfare programs have any major impact on government spending. Social programs that qualify as "welfare" amount to about 4% of discretionary spending.
-Public over charter education: Public education is long overdue for a massive overhaul, and IMO we need to spend more on education, not less.
-Energy: Lessening fossil fuel dependence should not be partisan.
-Abortion funding: This is the only thing I can't get with when it comes to liberal ideology. :kanyebp:

someone who owns 14 properties (either you don't know what real estate is valued at and you're just trolling or you're in some investment partnership where you and a bunch of other people own a small % of a property) and 2 businesses isn't in the same boat as anyone outside of the top 5%. if you own 14 properties you're in the top 5% in america when it comes to net worth.

I think the market should determine wages.... I dont think a person who cooks pre made burgers deserves 15 or 17 an hr. That shyt is sick to me. I made 8.50 at McDonald's. That was cool for the time. As you do better work you get more.

Public education has failed black people. Us having our own black ran schools in the past and present is what has worked better. NTM public schools promoted by dems and liberal are Prison pipelines and c00n factories.

Energy- i agree with. Destroying the planet is European ideology.

Abortion funding... The Historical Champions of liberal ideology push and encourage More black deaths.

I agree with you that social welfare isnt a huge impact on gov spending- but it Does have a huge impact on AA mentality.

All those payday loan stuff, cards, low income housing scams... and other scams are pushed by liberals (and some conservatives)- and the same liberals create the environment for dependency and lack of financial literacy- so thats them. Poverty Pimping is out of the liberal handbook.

Wakanda is a monarchy and conservative society.:sas2:
