I finally got around to watching the movie on HBO. It was straight. It still didn't capture the magic of the first five seasons, though...but it wasn't horrible. It wasn't worth seeing in the theater, however, and I'm glad I didn't waste my money on it.
I've resigned myself to the fact that
Entourage will never be what it was when it hooked me during my high school/early college years.
i'll never forgive that c*nt ally musika for ruining this show
She sucked all the fun out of the show. The last 2-3 seasons were one big soap opera because of her, and the pro-feminist/male emasculation themes in the last season were cringeworthy. She figuratively chopped Ari Gold's balls off...and

at what she did to Billy's character by turning him into a good guy.
Vince is the richest, Turtle is a piece of shyt, he is the dumbest of the guys by far , he has no education and his job was to drive Vince around. He was a fat lazy mooching guy who got lucky . When Drama paid for his education, he dropped out. He got rich on another mans work , the guy who made the vodka and would be broke if Vince didn't keep his stock options for him. The writer of the show sees himself in Turtle, that's why he gets great girls , money and the like because he sees himself in him.
Think about it, when has Turtle ever stepped up for any of the guys? Never is the answer.
Nah man, Turtle was a loser and all, but he wasn't a moocher. He is loyal. In Season 5, when Vince's career hit the skids and he went broke, Turtle proved his loyalty by standing by him. If he was a moocher, he would've bounced and moved in with Jamie Lynn Sigler who he was dating at the time. And remember towards the end of the film, Turtle offered to put up his own money so Vince could finish his movie? That's a good example of him stepping up.
And I wouldn't call him lazy; he's a hustler. He always has some little side hustle, money-making scheme going on whether it's hustling party guests, rap music management or elsewhere. I do agree that it's unbelievable that he somehow always gets hot chicks that are well above his range. Hell, he got the idea to invest in the tequila company by that hot Latina he was with at the time. But I guess it's part of the fantasy of the show.
There's a lot of ugly guys out there that watched the show, and they want to believe they can be with hot chicks, too.
