like let's say you liked someone and they initially didn't like you, or probably fought back the feeling. You ever had to be persistent in your pursuit of them? This could be relationship wise or sexual, how long did you have to work at getting them? What kind of things did you do, what finally happened that made them give in? Just wondering

Dedicate your energy and resources towards someone that actually appreciates it. You'll make more progress that way.

Why expend all that effort and energy for someone who wasn't thinking about you like that to begin with?

What if you do and are successful? Then you realize all the time and effort was for what you currently have that you aren't impressed with. You won't have anyone to be mad at but yourself. Truth be told, probably not worth the effort. :yeshrug:
