Friend of mine I grew up with. Dude was cool. He was part of the crew. I was OT for a year or two and when I got back dude had been labelled a snitch. He was completely ostracized by the block. He got locked up for a robbery and someone murdered his girl while he was in jail. She was dead in her bathtub for a few days and his baby was left crying in the crib.
When I saw him he had completely lost his mind. I bumped into him at the mall and we spoke. I didnt know what he was talking about. Nothing he said made any sense. I gave him some bread and bounced. Someone I knew saw him later on and said he was dressed up as a woman. He was sneaking around or something. When he saw them he ran.

had a feeling i had a post in this thread
yeah, got an uncle who had black magic or what we call obeah put on him. His baby mother done it, he went from being that cool uncle to living on the streets. I dont even know what he does, no ones seen him in a long time. Hes never done drugs or drunk so i just dont know mannn, he hands around with alcoholics though. shyts just fukked up, i find solance in the saying that we all got problems

My mom was cool with this haitian lady in Miami. Our fam go way back to the neighborhood in Haiti. Lady moved here and had 3 kids. Oldest was daughter named Martine who i was cool with. Cool ass girl. Sweet child. We were always friends from the time i moved here.
Anyway chick goes off to college gets her degree and gets the opportunity of a lifetime to go work in Germany. She fell in love with some white dude over there and they were together for a while until she had to come back and stay in Miami for a while on a family emergency (mom got arrested and was pending deportation). She stayed and took care of her little brothers and sisters for about 6 months. Then when things got resolved she took the first plane back to Germany. She gets there and finds that the white dude had moved on with some african chick (turns out homie loves himself some black women). She lost it. She eventually had a nervous breakdown and had to be hospitalized while in Germany. She was put in a mental hospital and eventually sent back home to the U.S.A.
Ever since her return it's been up and down. She can be stable for a while but every now and then she erupts and needs to be heavily medicated.
Please don't ask me for the details of her condition because i do NOT know. Just know that she's now deemed "crazy" by everyone and has to sometimes be restrained so she doesn't hurt herself.
I'm mad at myself that ever since she came back from Europe 5 years ago i haven't had the time to go see her. Seems like when I'm in Miami there is never enough time or she may be out of town herself (I hear the younger sister sometimes comes get her and take her away for weekends) or she may be in the hospital. I miss my friend y'all

Update: I finally ran into her , yo!
came down to Miami for a funeral . When we were in the service as I walked across the room I heard someone scream my name atop their lungs. I looked and couldn’t see who it was then kept walking.
Once we were outside after the casket drop I was talking to the son of the diceased and someone just jumped and hugged me out of nowhere. Turned around and it was her. Must have been 16+ years since I last seen my friend.
Seems like she’s doing better. We exchanged numbers so we can stay in touch

my brother somebody slipped something in his drink at a club one night dude was never the same after that
i was pretty young when it happened but i remember him being put in a hospital for a bit
then when we came back dude would have like full blown conversations to him self out loud he was in a car accident not to long after that an passed away
