I haven't bought shyt for anybody for Christmas in yizz. Already ahead of teh game

During the Justice Or Else rally in DC this past weekend, Farrakhan called for blacks to boycott Christmas this year. Says we spend $400 Billion during Xmas holidays.

"This Christmas sit around the table, and bring Christ back to a day that was supposed to honor him.
Put the bottle down, put the loud down, put the beer down and get around your table with clean food and teach about Jesus and then show love forgiveness and reconcile your differences within the family, and this would be the best christmas that we've had in a long time. If you could put $400 billion dollars and keep it in your pocket, then you've got a little money to invest, and what we want to do is buy up as much land. We're asking government for 100 million acres as a start (about the size of California)."

Shyt is kinda crazy how people are reacting to this. You would have thought he said quit your jobs or some some shyt. All the guy is asking is for us to show some solidarity and hit the people in power where they actually feel it, and it hurts. Which is their pockets.

Now I get this is easier for some then others. It would probably tough to tell a young child there not getting toys on christmas like other kids ect.
But if you don't support thats fine its your choice, just go buy your shyt and keep it moving. But, seeing dudes on here get literally upset about the proposal is crazy to me.

Dudes even say "fukk you" To Farrikan.


We aint even close to ready to anything constructive as a mass group

All this money, resources and organization Plus dirt cheap real estate in places like Detroit.........How hard is it to take some of their hundreds of millions AND get these bean pies off the streets and into a production factory?

Folks need socks and underwear and white tees globally. You telling me nobody can rally some resources and build a factory to produce for the people and give REAL people REAL jobs?

Ah I see too much competition wouldn't be looked on positively by Fruit of the Loom and the Asians etc.....so nah guess that won't work. Too much of a threat of people gaining independence financially and doing something for the community.....................nah that won't work, can't build on that. Nah, nope, there would be too much expectation and who needs that when you can just give feel good speeches and expect those who are broken to just do for self until the next speech.

Can american factories even compete with the cheap labour of asian factories?

I think thats part of the probkem in detroit in the first place. Human factory jobs in America just can't compete with the cheap labor in Asia and Mexico.

I think this would be a happy medium. Obviously there are many hear who are appauled at the idea of not spending money on christmas. Maybe he could have started out with only b.o.b first. It would be better than nothing.

See the thing is, black ppl would rather speculate as to what won't work than to simply try it.
He obviously thinks it will make some sort of a difference. He has spent alot of time on the issue.

He knew he was to deliver a speech to tens or hundreds of thousands, and he sat down and decided it was pertinent to mention that we should boycott xmas.

Fine.
I'll keep my money in my pocket and see what happens.
Worst case scenereo nothing happens and I still have my money.

Quit being pessimists and contrarians for no gain.
Sometimes someone has more understanding of something than you and all that is required for it to succede is your support.

I don't need the details. I am not hurt in anyway by supporting this, so why wouldn't I?
I don't suffer from material addiction. I can go a day or week or month without buying stupid shyt.

Nobody wants to lead, nobody wants to formulate the plan, but then when the leaders say 'here is the plan' ppl want to denounce it or provide input when the meetings are long over.

Unless you are organizing your own rally for black empowerment and plan to host thousands of promenent black leaders to engage the discussion,
get onboard or stfu.

I see great benefits of not spending money on frivolous holiday objects. Many people could save lots of money. Use the money for an investments or save it for an emergency. Also, this will be a great time for the followers of the Abrahamic religion to dispose Santa Claus and his reindeers, and place the Jesus Christ's philosophy as the focal point of the holiday.

I agree with this. I'm not a fan of Farrkan at all or any religious leader for that matter, but I think this is a good idea. It's hard to get people out that nikka mentality. For the life of me I don't know how Martin and Malcolm did it. Just goes to show they were powerful people.
