Rather than attacking the messenger, I'll say that I agree with the message.

If you're religious, that's really what the focus should be.

More than consumerism, anyway.

I'd love to see people stop participating in consumerism for the holiday season. The only reason I purchase anything during that time of the year is because of sales. Still, the stuff will be cheaper within the first month or so of Spring. So why not be patient? People are sheep though, they can't help but go with the flow of Holiday season.
