What have we learned on the Coli this week:
-some black women have become highly upset because in a song, Chris Brown said "all my chicks got real hair" They took this as blatant disrespect to all black women who wore weave
-black women are allowed to have height preferences in men, but black men better dare not to have a preference for lighter skinned women or weight requirements for women
I don't think any woman in here commented about the weight preference.

No Black man should apologize for liking light skin women. That's what he likes.
Women aren't asked to apologize for liking a tall man.
We're programmed to view dark skin on a man as masculine, powerful, etc. Dark skin Black men benefit from this, dark women do not. Light skin is associated with beauty, femininity, etc on a woman. Light skin women benefit from this. Unfortunately, for light skin Black men, they aren't viewed as masculine, powerful, etc. as their dark skin counterparts. It's the way of the world.
It's the same with height. Most of the world's men are nowhere where 6'. Yet, we've been programmed to believe there's a plethora of 6' men roaming the earth. Other than certain parts of Europe and a few tribes in East Africa, the average man is shorter than 6' by a few inches.
So, these chicks will, on the one hand, try to shame Black men by saying they're brainwashed by white supremacy to desire lighter skin, but also ignore the fact that they've also been brainwashed by cac media to only want tall men.
They'll claim one is rooted in white supremacy and the other in evolutionary biology. But, that's not necessarily true. Bigger, not necessarily taller, has been the norm throughout history. In some societies, it had nothing to do with height. Weight was more of a factor. A fatter man meant he had resources. He was eating good, therefore he could be a good provider and protector.
