Only thing I see wrong with a light skinned preference is if you exclusively date light skinned women and show derision to other shades. There's definitely something off about that. But if you date all shades of black women but just prefer the light skinned variety, cool. Just like if a woman dates a wide range of heights but prefers taller guys. But of course these common sense thoughts are anathema to TLR. My bad y'all.

The problem is that people in here are confusing preferences with requirements. A preference is just that....I doubt a girl is going to look at a guy and say, "he ticks off 9 of the 10 things I look for in men...nah " Requirements are where dealbreakers come in and men and women usually apply more serious factors to those.
