real talk in 2015 its the producers doing like 90% of the work in rap. nowadays whenever you hear someone like something like a fetti wap or a young thug song, all you hear is "i love the beats tho, their sound is so different" :flabbynsick:. nikkas just gotta sing a halfass melody over it and its a certified "street banger"

all these nikkas acapella's gotta sound weak as fukk when they be mixing in the studio :mjlol:

These nikkas ain't doin shyt but bitin eachother. Half the shyt sound the same as fukk and the buzz they get don't even be all that organic. The production is overproduced as fukk and in the past the rapper had to do WAY more to make the song hot than they do now. Now nikkas don't even really gotta understand half of what u sayin. And would rather not actually. Put a rapper spittin coherent shyt over some of these beats and nikkas don't wanna hear it. Case in point. The "Fuc Up Some Commas" remix wit Ross and Big Sean. Them nikkas is dope rappers and got a fan base and have plenty dope songs. People was mad at them for gettin on the track cause they didn't wanna hear bars over it. They said they fukked the "feel" of the track up and would rather hear Future's incoherent rambling off on the track. Hip hop has some of the literal worst fans of all time. They surpassed Pop fans. Alotta these nikkas don't even like rap. Which is ironic and hilarious to me.

I agree wit this part too. But it's not gonna be alotta fans of "spitters" if all the non spitters are gettin shoved down nikkas throats. Son even if u look back to the early 2000s. It was cool to have bars in the mainstream. That was the whole reason shyt like Freestyle Friday was created. Even casual fans was up on mixtapes and nikkas who was spittin. Cause there wasn't such a fukkin barrier. These kids literally grew up on the back end of Wayne's success where he ushered in the drugged out incoherent rap style. And all these new nikkas bitin that style and these kids literally grew up on the shyt. I had a lil nikka tell me certain rappers ain't artists cause all they do is rap. Im like nikka that's what they supposed to do. nikkas don't respect the genre fam. Alotta these nikkas don't like rap yet get to dictate what direction the genre goes in.
