They threw that bum Jimmy Clausen in the bushes after ten starts because it was clear he wasn't NFL caliber(and they could draft Cam).
Sometimes you can tell if a guy has it or doesn't early. There are six games left. Petty should start three, Hack should start three. If they can't have Hack start totally meaningless games, it's a real issue.

Breh, you say this (and its true. that's been one of my main complaints about our base) and we got cats here screaming that Petty sucks after his first start ever. I'm not married to the guy one way or another, but we gotta chill. Cats are calling for Mac and Bowles' heads after a down season. I know this shyt is frustrating to watch, but listening to fans is just as bad.
Are you familiar with the law of holes? If you're in a hole, the first rule is to stop digging. Mac the jury is still out on him, but Bowles is a total incompetent. The sooner he's gone the better. He makes Herm look like Belichick.

Yeah, he didn't look frazzled or rattled out there. I think he made some good throws. He missed Robby a few times yesterday for the deep ball, but that's ok. I think he'll get better as he goes on. I was shocked cats were shytting on him when Fitz would throw 2-3 picks a game. I don't know, man. fukk it.
You know what, I'll give you Bowles. He's looked clueless at times and has been out coached more than a little bit this year. I'm shocked that he took a step back this year.

I get everybody has their pitchforks out because of this season being so disheartening as a fan where just nothing is going right but let's have at least some perspective.
