We fire him now, we become the Browns. We already had a tough time finding a GM and that's why we ended up with Idzik. Folks would laugh at the prospect of coming here. We need stability. If next year, they still look like shyt then they can go mid-season for all I care. I do think we need to take another look at our coordinators, especially on D.

There are only 32 of these jobs in the entire world. The idea that the Jets can't get quality candidates for HC/GM is laughable. Woody's just got no fukking idea what he's doing.

I think there's something to be said for not throwing good money after bad. Bowles should be gone. He's mediocre to awful in pretty much every aspect that a head coach needs to be competent. I wouldn't want to get rid of Mac yet.. but he hasn't done a good job either.

Well they're obviously setting up a trade for Sheldon, so they'll pick up another relatively high pick. Maybe someone foolishly wants to trade up for Fournette and we can move back in the draft

You can go back a few pages for my elaboration on this point, but essentially it boils down to this: RB is easily the most fungible position in the NFL. You can find guys that can acceptably run the rock basically anywhere(sometimes literally off the street). If the Jets draft Fournette but still have a shytty OL and shytty QB, how effective do you think he'll be? All you gotta do is look at Todd Gurley to see how it would go(or this years LSU/BAMA game)

In addition, you should use your high first rounders on players that cannot be easily acquired via trade/FA or are extraordinarily expensive. Edge rushers/QBs/blindside protectors/elite CBs

They can't. If there's only 32 jobs yet I have one of the shyttiest ones with the least amount of job security, I'd rather wait for another vacancy.

I really don't think you can trade Decker coming off 2 major surgeries. He might even start the season on the PUP list

Cam Robinson just won the Outland Trophy last night(best interior lineman in CFB). Maybe you go that way? QB is a bigger issue. There's not a quick fix in the draft(basically everyone but maybe Trubisky is gonna need some time to contribute)... maybe they go with a Glennon or Hoyer at QB. Less likely is Romo as he'll probably look to move to Arizona or Denver. Stay far away from Cutler.

Release Decker to save cap space. No hoyer or cutler. Maybe Glennon.
