Petty takes sacks at twice the rate Fitz did. I'm completely done with Fitz but Petty looks basically the same as Geno and Sanchez.
Yes, Petty is bad. So is Geno, Sanchez, Fitz and Hackenberg.
That doesn't negate from the fact the Jets have to replace LT and RT this offseason. Take Cam Robinson whenever you pick and don't think twice about it.

The Jets need a lot. But the problems all stem back to having horrible quarterbacks.
If you're right, I'd say we do what we did with Sanchez. Build around Petty.
That wasn't sustainable. Put the best defense and running game around these guys and it will still fail. It's pretty unreal honestly how Petty looks exactly like Sanchez and Geno and the same excuses/convincing happens. If you can't pick up the blitz and take stupid sacks you're screwed.

Sometimes you have to develop a quarterback. Build around what you have. I'd love a great QB too, but I don't see us getting one anytime soon. So lets beef up that O-line, get some corners.
