I think Bowles is getting a bad rap too
Maccagnan's been horrific and you got a ton of knuckleheads in that locker room.

Every player is playing like shyt,the team looks woefully under prepared every single game all season,he makes 0 adjustments,the team had turned on each other all season.
His incompetence is staggering this season.

The more I think about it the more ridiculous it is.
This game is totally irrelevant. Both teams are eliminated from the playoffs and it would probably be better if the Jets lost the game for draft purposes.
If they don't play Hackenberg, that means that he is SO bad, SO unprepared to be an NFL quarterback it would be an embarrassment to even put him on the field now.

This roster is also one of the worst in football. The entire secondary needs to be replaced, we have no linebackers, no edge rusher...the one bright spot on defense is Williams who plays the same position as Mo and Sheldon. There's no QB, no LT, WR's are below average, Powell who cant play every down, no tight end.....This is on Maccagnan. Every one of his signings has been bad. The roster is abysmal.
I dont think Bowles is a good coach either, but there isnt a guy on the planet who could make this roster work. They need to purge salaries, let themselves be bad for two years and hope to draft a QB that can give the franchise some hope. My suggestion would be to fire them both and start over and pray to god Woody is too busy putzing around in England to care about the Jets.
