Why geno ain't getting pt?
They're not gonna bench Fitz after 4 games. It's simply not gonna happen. The fact that Fitz by whatever metric you want to use is by far the worst starting QB in the league and Bowles has no intention of starting anyone else speaks volumes about Geno, Petty and Hackenberg. If they thought Geno could win them games he would be in. They don't.
The vets are going to play until they're eliminated would be my guess.
The only person it speaks volumes about is Todd Bowles himself.
He's shown he is stubborn to a fault ESPECIALLY to veterans. Theirs 0 accountability for vets on this team.
What I don't want to see happen is the team go on a run and sort of hang around and not get eliminated till week 16. If they're not gonna make the playoffs it's best they're really bad and you can evaluate guys for 2017 against live action
Problem is there isnt a whole lot of depth to get looks at. Most of those guys are already playing...
I only care about the QB position. Once they get that part sorted out all of these ancillary problems are much more manageable. I want Petty to start at least 6 games this year.

No...it speaks volumes of our base who the Jets allow to dictate their moves. Geno was clearly the better qb at camp yet few beat writers even admitted to it (one of the reasons why some are getting bashed). Only CNimbley, Connor Rodgers and those of us on twitter were spitting the real about how shytty Fitz looked in camp. Geno had the best camp out of all the qbs there. But Bowles said Fitz would start the second he signed.
Doesn't matter what Geno does...this fan base senselessly hates him for a myriad of reasons, including cism. So the Jets would rather cut their nose to spite their face in order to not anger the PSL holders and idiot Jet beat writers who are hitched to Fitz.
They all deserve it.

Had to pry this out of Jets beat writers last summer. They refused to address it because Fitz is "adorable" and the type of guy you can drink a beer with.
But nah...for our beat writers, it was all about subtweets and helmets.
