If Geno put up those numbers we'd think there was something to build on. Fitz was never gonna have that afforded to him because of his age and track record.

If Geno put up those numbers based off of dropped ints and Brandon Marshall's ability to go up and get it, I'd be a skeptic.

the only thing thats apparent is that there's no overall plan and the owner cant keep his nose out of the football decisions

I've heard Gailey vehimently back Geno since last season and particularly during Fitz saying they are fine with him. Same with Mac. They even left Fitz off the PSL yearbook. I think they were ready to move on from Fitz.

I'm not mad at Fitz....actually I consider him a smart hustla....a QB with some glaring flaws and more suited for a back up QB being able to get high multi-million dollar contracts by multiple teams, have so much longevity as a starter, and will probably be signed by another team after the Jets...gotta give him credit. I usually say its white privilege like the Brock Ozweiller situation to be the cause but its that and more with Fitz. Dude even tried to hold out and thought other teams would throw the checkbook at him this past off-season with going 10-6 with a lower strength of schedule and threw 3 picks on last 3 possessions with playoffs on line. Right after beating NE the week before. He preformed worst than Romo did (those 8-8 seasons and throwing a costly pick at the worst time) during that last regular season game against the Bills.

I got to give it up to Fitz. Dude is smart and went to Ivy League college and all but he a hustla. I can't even knock it.
