nah. actually, quite the opposite. i was very liberal with my views on kids listening to hip hop (except for the overly sexual shyt ). neither one of my sons took to it. my oldest son doesn't care. he listens to marching band music and snare drum videos online. that's it. my youngest son DESPISES hip hop. he listens to anything but hip hop. any scarface or kendrick lamar come on the radio in the car, he instantly gets the face. then he goes to sleep.

they don't listen to heavy metal, but they don't fukk with hip hop at all. i sometimes think it's because they are trying their hardest to be the opposite of me. but i don't get it, because they both dress like me. i don't know where i went wrong brehs . i have been exposing them to hip hop from birth. they just never took to it.

To add on to my earlier post, I'm 33

I'll be honest - a lot of the new stuff doesn't really catch my ear. Le$ is the only "new" rapper (new in quotation marks because he's been around for a bit, but he's new to a lot of people) that has held my attention lately. Other than that, I will check for anything Bun B (even in his stage), Z-Ro, Trae (even though I Am King didn't really move me) or Slim Thug drops (still waiting for A King And A Boss ).

Wu-Tang is my number one group of all time, but I find that as I get older, I've drifted away from them a lot I don't get the face when anything new drops.
