It’s plenty of rappers “rapping” It’s a whole fukking sub genre of rappers rippity rapping over drumless beats and shyt, and it’s thriving. 2 of the biggest artist in the game, Kendrick and Cole are known as lyricist. Even Gibbs himself has been praised with critical acclaim and carved a lane for himself as a lyrical rapper with a hipster ass fan base that actually believes he some gangsta ass nikka.

In five years we still gonna have rap and nikkas never stopped “rapping” Rappers are “rapping” at this very moment. Plenty of them. They have not went anywhere. Is a heavy emphasis placed on lyricism in general? No. Does that mean that the world about to end and nobody raps anymore? No

There are still tons of bands and people making rock music, doesn’t mean anyone hears it other than diehard underground fans :francis:

We not saying that nikkas not gonna be rapping anymore, just that you won’t see them on the mainstream like a Drake, Cole, Kenny. They’re already gearing up the white rappers to fill that lane. Tried it with Post Malone but he wanted to be a rockstar and now they doing it with Jack Harlow (Drake copycat) and Yeat (Travis Scott/Future/Thug clone). It’s going to happen more and more that way too

It’s approaching the time to throw new hip hop into the bushes. Stick to the classic shyt from now on, and peep every now and then whenever the OG’s drop something, like Snoop & Nas. The new shyt is getting embarrassing.
Snoop and Mary J both dropped new albums like last week and nobody cares

These nikkas mourning the 'rap game', fukk the rap game :pacspit:

But the art form...that pre-dates Hip Hop as a culture and rap music as a genre...and will be here long after the genre either dies off or becomes uncrecognizable.

Guess he’s not listening to the lyrical stuff cause it’s still around. People just like the simple shyt instead. Plus they like the beefing gimmicks and not the actual art.
