@Liu Kang He is within the margin of error... would you vote for him?
First of all, I don't vote :manny:

About Mélenchon, it's difficult to know whether it is simply momentum or a solid rise because I don't trust polls like that when it comes to candidates other than FN, PS and LR. The reason why I'm (a little) skeptical is that in the last elections, he was around 14% in the polls (which peaks at 16) with the same slow and steady rise like he's doing currently but he finally did 11. It's been a 4 horse race for weeks now and Macron and Le Pen are definitely the favorites since Fillon fukked up (hopefully). Mélenchon is the one who has the momentum and he has it at the perfect time. That said, Mélenchon being at the left of the Socialist Party still means that some people see him as far left. On top of that, we have what we call here the "vote utile" (useful vote) which means voting strategically. If people feel that Le Pen and/or Fillon might be too close to Macron, people at the left may vote for Macron to guarantee at least a "non-right" (Macron is def not left) presence in the second round to the detriment of Méluche obviously.

That's why I can't really tell you about him because he does have an appeal to the youth and to those disappointed with the Socalists (lol at Hamon being under 10) but there's still a kind of "red scare" when it comes to people at the left of the Socialist party. IMO, the perfect ticket would have been Hamon (as the Socialist umbrella which is less "scary" for the neutral even though Hamon is at the left side of the Socalists) with Méluche (as a PM let's say). It would have been a sure thing for the left and almost certainly a victory (above all against Macron which eats from the center to the right). The same way a Hillary-Sanders ticket would have been a home-run for yall. Only sure thing is no matter who's against her, Le Pen is not winning this.

We just saw Trump win the presidency when most outlets had him with next to no chance. 6 points is nothing in the grand scheme of things.
Didn't saw your reply my bad. I explained why I was skeptical about his poll numbers above.
