It's not about thinking he can do no wrong as much as it is looking at it from his perspective...as somebody CURRENTLY in charge of fighting and winning a two front war in the present, it's no small wonder that Dany somewhere wandering around on the other side of the planet isn't his top priority...nor one that he could even really do shyt about at the moment if it were...if he doesn't win the war in the short-term, it doesn't much matter what Dany does because his family will no longer control the throne she's coming to reclaim in the first place...I guess you can call that short-sighted, but as a character in the story he doesn't have the privilege of being some omnipresent third party witnessing Dany's come up on a weekly as a viewer...or (judging from you from the post to tru mac) can he see the future like people that apparently read the book can![]()
What can I say? Book readers know more than you other nikkas

BUT SHE HAS TO DO IT FIRST. Y'all really think she's leaving her first battle without some losses? She's gonna walk out of there with all her unsullied? She's gonna capture and claim ALL the money in a righteous way? You nikkas really think this is gonna be smooth sailing? That her only sacrifice was burning in the fire? She ain't gonna lose 92 bricks and fall back quick?
