Watch the scene again, i posted it in this thread, she did nothing but puff up and flex, she does not have the power to have him killed, Tywin does, Joffery does, not her, he told her knowledge is power, when she asked him about finding Ayra, he knew where she was already, he knows about her and Jamie, what does she have over him? Nothing, in that scene where Tywin is named hand of the king, the next person named a Lord is Littlefinger, Varys eyes got big because he knew that this guy leaped over everyone and made a power move doing very little, you really think Cersi can match wits with the master of coin?

Dapped both cuz I agree with both despite the fact that they're conflicting interpretations.

I think that's the point of Varys' riddle...ultimately, power resides where people believe it resides

hmm... now that you mention it, they might not have made that connection on the show. but they kinda skip over stuff there. Cat takes him, and then when we next see them, Tyrion already knows he's being accused of being the owner of the knife

The way I remember the scene LF said some lil slick slightly subliminal shyt about about Cersei and Jamie. The queen picked up on on it and was like "Word? Seize him." The guards then grabbed LF up. "Cut his throat". They get ready to bust him open and she says, "No never mind. Release him". IMO letting him know I can end you at will. And she can. She's the queen. LF aint shyt. She doesnt need the Hand or the king to sign off on getting a lord murked. At least not 1 of LF's status. We talkin about the same bytch that tore up King Roberts scroll with his last wishes with the seal of the king on it. In the throne room. In front of the Kingsguard.

I think you will soon see that Littlefinger is going to a powermove, he going after the whole Lannister family, Joffery, Tywinn and Tyrion matter of fact, he going to weaken the whole kingdom.

you not paying attention to how this guy plays the game, Tywin benefits from LF efforts, he is having the money paid to him and his family, that works in peace time when they control everything, but in the chaos of war who collects? His army is fighting Rob Stark and his allies, money is being paid for troops and spies, and this means the money is drying up, Tywin and his whole family rep will be hurt, while LF walks away scott free transfering the blame to Tyrion, making his father hate him even more, why does this matter well he creates more strife to weaken the family while he sets up his master stroke.
