All he has is deep pockets. The only reason they survived Blackwater is because of Tyrion. He just came to the right place at the right time. Money is the only reason the Lannisters are still in the game. Not military prowess.

I despise the Lannisters, but this isn't exactly true. Tywin is an experienced leader, both politically, as a former/current Hand of the King, and as military commander. Tyrion is also a skilled strategist. Without those, all that money would just be sitting around waiting to be syphoned away by someone smarter.

Just watched the latest episode and I aint tryin to start nothin but it wasnt exactly entertaining lets put it that way. Had the same underwhelming feeling last year too & the season never really reached the heights of the 1st lets be honest. Outside of charles dance's character sonning the imp to bolivia and the ending it was pretty dull..

I honestly hope GoT wasnt just a one season wonder that is really all hype, lauded by those that read the book.Because its starting to look that way

This show is so amazing. In one episode they caught us up on everything and planted SOOOOOO many seeds for the rest of the season. I was actually mad when the end credits came up because I wanted it to keep going!
