Politics is a tactical game. Politics is a reality show, politics is full of pandering characters. Even a 10 year old can see that.

Game of thrones
House of cards

Perception is reality for a lot of us. You see it your way. I see it mine.

I’m gonna go yell at a cloud for my next act.

This really shows some of the major driving force behind Bush's appeal. He was a cac who had swagger as opposed to what was perceived as Gore's uptightness.

Yup, that's all that really matters.

What are you 10 years old?

What about our current political climate makes you think any of the bolder is true?

Because that's how its always been. Most voters vote for whoever is the most galvanizing/charismatic character. People don't vote on policy.

And let's not act like these presidents aren't still mostly doing the bidding of big oil, wall street, military, etc.

But...
They're vote dissuaders bro. They will say anything to try and knock us off our square and get us to divest from voting.

I'm not a vote dissuader. I'm voting for Biden, and I know how important this election. Me calling them characters has more to do with how politicians usually craft personas to get votes during the election season.

Well what im saying is that there is a stark difference between this election and any other past election. So you can't compare personas, characters or anything else to anything that happened before in the past.

I'm able to compartmentalize things in certain contexts

As in, I can look at them as characters in TV show void of any real-world context/ramifications, but when it comes to discussing serious issues and voting I can turn on my seriousness
