Yes, bc all their ideas end with money in their pockets. WE ARE TIRED OF BEING SOLD.

I'm not "raging" at Ghana; I'm telling them to mind their mf'ing business. The Ashanti Empire was a slave trading empire. I don't want to hear not a gd thing from the descendants of those who sold us.

1. I'm putting Africa in a box because your leaders continue to disrespect us or try to use us.
2. If Ghana wasn't a country when this occurred, it should no longer show up on our dna tests. Let's play the game til its conclusion.

I have to call my mother and ask her to call our close family friend, Delois Blakely. This woman has her travel coordinated by the Kennedys. I guess it's the
Catholic/ former nun thing, but she be back and forth from Africa. I wonder if she was there.

Queen Mother Dr. Delois Blakely is a prominent
activist and humanitarian who played a significant role in the preservation and memorialization of the African Burial Ground in New York City. Often referred to as "Harlem's Street Nun," she has been a tireless advocate for the descendants of the transatlantic slave trade.

Connection to the African Burial Ground
Dr. Blakely was a leading voice in the descendant community that protested the federal government's construction of an office building at 290 Broadway after human remains were discovered in 1991. Her involvement centered on ensuring the site was treated with dignity, respect, and spiritual reverence.
GSA (.gov) +4
  • Activism & Advocacy: She was part of the community-led movement that successfully halted construction and compelled the General Services Administration (GSA) to properly excavate and study the remains.
  • Spiritual Leadership: As a religious leader and Pan-Africanist, she has consistently advocated for the sanctity of the burial ground and the reinterment of the ancestral remains.
  • Ongoing Legacy: She continues to use her platform as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador to Africa to highlight the historical importance of the site and to call for reparations for the descendants of enslaved Africans.
Key Facts about the African Burial Ground
The site is one of the most significant archaeological finds in U.S. history, revealing the lives and contributions of enslaved people in colonial New York.
Columbia University +1
  • Discovery: In 1991, remains of over 400 individuals were found during construction in Lower Manhattan.
  • Scale: It is estimated that roughly 15,000 people were buried at the site from the 1690s to 1794.
  • National Monument: The site was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1993 and a National Monument in 2006.
  • Memorialization: A permanent memorial, designed by Rodney Léon, was dedicated on October 1, 2007.

We have always received delineation from most of you. On the issue of reparations, many of us do not desire to be a part of some global Black agenda on it, because we are only seeking reparations from the country we reside in.

Also, here is the pertinent part, all of the nations you guys are asking for reparations from, voted no or abstained from the vote. So in that regard, you are no closer to that agenda than we are to ours. Well that is unless you are going to actually ask African Nations who participated in the Slave Trade to pay up.

My God, this hilarious.

Just making up stuff. My God, you people are copying the Right Wing playbook to a Tee.

This is sad and hilarious.

Oh, we know all about this. What you seem to fail to realize is that our claim for reparations is not being made with those who sold us into slavery, but with those who actually benefitted via our ancestors labor with slavery. We are not going to Nations of Africa and demanding from the descendents of slave traders to pay reparations. We are demanding reparations from the US.

No one is denying the possibility of having ancestors who participated in the slave trade. What we are not accepting is that gives any foreign actor the right to negotiate on it for us. Many of us quite frankly prefer our claim to not be added into the mix, because our claim is uniquely between us and the US.

Please sftu, and understand the world you live.

This was about The Transatlantic Slave Trade, not the United States Slave trade.

This complex some of yall have forced yourselves to develop. Has to be studied

I don't know, and there is no way for me to tell.
I don't know anything and you don't know either. You don't have any records of my people or my my "people's leaders" who sold slaves. You don't know jack.
And because you don't know who is who, you and @HarlemHottie want to put all Africans in a box and slander Africans. We aren't going to let that happen

At this point, these clowns want to be stupid, want to be manipulated and used and played. So let them be.

This shiit is hilarious to me.

That's what's up. I think these African countries should also be leading the charge in starting a reparations for DOS fund to compensate for their hand in this atrocity.
I think you should shut the fukk up and mind your business.
