Riley is the new Cory. Maya is the new shawn. Cory is the new Feeny. Comes on Fri on Disney

I was listening to a podcast Michael Jacobs did a while back where he confirmed one of my earlier thoughts that Riley is more like Eric than Cory, but he also said that Auggie is the one more like Cory.

Which made me think about his relationship with Ava. Auggie has a somewhat screwed up view of relationships because he's Cory and Topanga's son. He showers Ava with all these gifts and thinks they're gonna be together forever because that's how his parents were. But considering how much this show has been deconstructing the idea of "Cory and Topanga," Auggie's just gonna end up a simp, and she's gonna dump him and leave him heartbroken.

Auggie too young to be getting played like that.
