he got rich. he'll still see some money off this.

:yeshrug:

no one is forcing you to listen to it. his hardcore fans will follow and support as with anything. Unlike your favorite rapper, 50 is smart with his money and investments. Even if he doesn't make it a hit, he has enough to last him a life time.

no :cape:because he truly did destroy NY rap but at the end of the day, one of the best businessmen from the hood.

50 Cent is finished musically. He's pretty irrelevant by now. He was always an average ass rapper to me. He got rich and blew up off off mostly hype. GRODT is one of the most overrated albums of all time.

I wouldn't say I'm a 50 hater but I was never much of a fan. He had some hot tracks here and there but I always felt he was overrated as fluck.
What were you ever looking for when it comes to 50 cent?

I don't think people ever thought he was a top lyricist...he put together a classic debut album (as much as people want to say its not) with 5 star production. Catchy hooks and a certified hip-hop classic with "In The Club" and there you have it...everything else has been pretty much a ride for him. Some good tracks here and there, but will never match most of GRODT

It's the most added record on urban, which means they're working the hell out of the song...so it has every opportunity to be a hit, it's being pushed as much as any song out there..way too early to call it a flop, but if it fails to gain spins and dies at radio there's gonna be no excuses other than it didn't test well and people flat out weren't feeling it...for all the talk of being "independent" now, he still has a tier 1 radio promotions team behind him

I just never got his hype. Banks can rap circles around him. Banks was the only one I was feeling out the whole G Unit movement. I don't hate on 50, he does his thing, I just feel he's one of the most overrated rappers of all time.
