Alex Smith does not take chances, period. He is a one read QB. How can you watch this offense for 22 games now under Harbaugh and not understand this?
His "take a chance" plays are designed by the coaching staff. He is TOLD to make that play. Dude is not going to veer off from the script (which isn't really a bad thing).

Well,the oc is different,oline coach is different and they switched from a zone blocking scheme to a man blocking scheme.

I said in the other thread they made no attempt to upgrade rb position ( the law firm and benson were out there) yet they want to run ground and pound , they had manningham , moss , Lloyd out there to pair with Holmes he needs help z, hills a rookie who may be good don't know yet
