63.3% of GM's say that Stephen Curry is the best point guard in the NBA (1st).

40% of GM's say that Klay Thompson is the best shooting guard in the NBA (2nd behind Harden).

23.3% of GM's say that Kevin Durant is the best small forward in the NBA (2nd behind Lebron).

16.1 % of GM's say that Draymond Green is the best power forward in the NBA (3rd behind AD and Lebron)

40% of GM's say that Andre Iguodala is the most impactful bench player in the NBA (2nd behind Crawford)

You've got at least 5 GM's picking a GS player as the best in the league at 4 of the 5 positions AND 6th man

Other than Lebron, that list would be 1st, 2nd, 1st, 2nd, 2nd.

And Zaza ain't even a scrub - he's probably above league average for a starting center.

No way this has ever happened before. This season is going to be stupid.

Never said it was an identical situation. But since we talking about the easy road to championships....

What year did you think was an easy path?

Damn, breh, look at the title of the thread again. Durant left a top-5 MVP candidate and a front line that was beasting in the West for a 73-win team that already had the MVP and #1 point guard, the #2 shooting guard, the #2 power forward and DPOY runner-up, and the best 6th man in the league. And we haven't even mentioned the COTY.

Lebron left a pile of crap for the #2 shooting guard, an all-star pf who didn't crack the top 5 power forwards on the All-NBA team, and a pile of crap.

There might be a comparison in optics, but there sure as hell ain't one in reality.
