I only became impressed with Cooks once he switched up his delivery/accent AFTER his debut

I'm going with Boldy off the strength of dropping more material than Cooks, Tea in China being my likely AOTY, and the fact that he's so improved as an artist and finding a dope new lane as an artist. Boldy had maybe the best year a veteran emcee could have. I'm glad he got a lot of critical acclaim to go along with the fanbase love.

I could have easily voted for Ransom, but I'm not in love with a lot of the Craven production, and I don't revisit these Director's Cut Scenes as much as I want to.

Cook$ - dude is the finished article. 'Reasonable Drought' is one of the few albums in recent years that I slept on and thought 'Yeah - I was buggin' when I finally heard it.
