GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. —
Three men charged with murder now stand accused of brutally attacking the homeless community.

Seth Norris, Joshua Norris and Tristan Ramey have been charged with the murder of Joshua Garret.

He was found gunned down on A St. in Poe Mill on July 3, according to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.

According to deputies, during their investigation into Garrett's death, they found videos of attacks on local homeless people.

The attacks were committed between Oct. of 2021 and June of this year in several local homeless camps around the San Souci area, deputies said.

According to deputies, David Norris and Logan Holmes were seen in videos taking part in the attacks.

Some of the victims identified in these attacks were beaten unconscious as the other assailants cheered them on while possessing firearms, deputies said.

According to deputies, investigators identified five victims shown in the videos, however, believe more victims may be out there.

The video below is provided by the Greenville County Sheriff's Office and contains graphic material.

Investigators learned that many victims were afraid to report the attacks fearing retaliation, deputies said.
Charges are as follows:

  • Seth Tyler Norris: attempted murder, second-degree assault and battery by a mob, two counts of criminal conspiracy
  • Logan Alexander Holmes: Attempted murder
  • David Allen Norris: Attempted murder, criminal conspiracy
  • Joshua Shawn Norris: Second-degree assault and battery by a mob, two counts of criminal conspiracy
  • Tristan Ramey has not yet been charged with the assaults due to investigators being unable to locate the victim.
