So what's going on? Anything special my comp is being screwey. How are the back ups playing? Score?

Penalties shot us in the foot twice, both with Antone Smith breaking loss. 1 for a big gain and one for a TD. A lot of miscommunication and lack of chemistry coming with the back ups which is a given for week 1 preseason most of the time. Hopefully in the 2nd half we give Tiolio more work, I still can't find trust in him.

Even tho it's preseason, I'll take the 16-10 win.

From what I saw:

Antone Smith & Freeman are gonna be explosive in space. Quizz is nothing more than a 3rd down runner, but this team should be OK running the ball even without SJax

Defense is still gonna have a hard time getting to the passer. Tannehill looked way too comfortable and the Dolphins starters got everything they wanted on that first touchdown drive (especially on 3rd down)

Jake Matthews had his moments both good & bad. His hold got an Antone Smith TD run called back and he had another hold in the redzone. He also held his own in pass blocking and run blocking on the right side.

Team still has to learn how to finish drives. 2 drives in the redzone ended in FGs. With the way this defense is shaping up, that's unacceptable. Gotta get TDs

Well seeing how the offensive line can't pick up blitzes or just do regular blocking I'm sure the staff could have looked pass Smiths little issues for what he can do

They're gonna have to be creative with how they put Freeman or Smith in the game b/c we all know how suspect Sam Baker can be & Jake is a rookie (even tho he'll be a beast). But they gotta get both guys in the games

I'm watching the replay now. I thought this happened last night but couldn't rewind it. Ryan got sacked, there was a penalty but #playtone didn't hold his blitz pickup
