i'm usually pessimistic as fukk cuz i'm not a blind homer but this year...i can see them winning the 1st round. i mean, it definitely wouldn't surprise me if they lost either but this season, i think they ACTUALLY can make the 2nd round.

they've played winning teams better than they used to, they've closed out games better than they used to, they've done the little things that win games better than they used to. i think that's what's got them to their best record ever so far. and i can see that translating to finally winning an opening round with this squad.

i usually wouldn't give them that much credit or have as much hope. but fukk it...

Masai had to do something or else the team wouldn't improve and he would be fired. Look this team's ceiling is the 2nd round in a good conference and I get that but this is the best team the raptors ever put out, we need to be a bit more happier.

Were those signing disappointing? Sure but potentially getting to the eastern conference finals is something the raptors can actually do. The road to the finals never looked so easy....if they blow it now they will never get another chance like this again.
