Please stop trying to pass to Biyombo. Just throw up a shot and let him eat off offensive rebounds. How much worse than him is Bebe? He's gotta be better offensively and was a DPOY in Europe. Casey needs to consider playing him when Bismack is killing our offense.
Having Bennett guard Melo at the end of the first half was a horrible idea, he went off immediately and took a tied game to an 8-point halftime lead in about a minute. JJ and DeRozan needed to share that assignment. Or at least send a hard double if you're going to leave Bennett on him.
The hole at 4 killed them again. Scola figured out how to attack Kristaps in the third and Fisher smartly just sat him. And with Carroll out the 3 is a weakness as well.
Patterson is a bum. On one possession he missed a wide open 3, Lowry came down and hit a contested one from the same spot on the next possession. I'm sure he's tired of watching this alleged stretch 4 miss these open shots and that was a fukk you. JJ took a dumbazz 3 near the end as well.

I wouldn't go that far. I'm just recognizing how thin the team is and how small the margin of error is. Last year the 3 and 4 were problem positions but at least Amir Johnson was here. With Carroll out we are a .500 level team. There's a reason Masai was still trying to sign Wes Matthews even after getting him, and even with us in desperate need of a starting 4.
And if the Knicks are actually good, that hurts our pick from the bargnani trade, which is the best asset we have.
They're not gonna lose in Philly, and 6-3 after 9 games isn't bad.
Schedule overrall has been weak and they havent looked good outside of 3 games (Boston,Dallas,OKC)
Alot of things last night brought me back to second half of last season...All defensive...
Val being a marshmallow in the paint,giving up wide open 3s,not rotating,not helping....Demarre Carroll cannot save this entire teams bad culture of low IQ defense...
All it takes is a few games like last night to remind me that Masai just put band aids on a shytty roster that still needs a huge revamp...
Thing thats really an eye sore and so obvious is the PF position...We had an opportunity to do sumn about it and MU went out and brought in a 35 yr old with no athleticism to go along with a guy we already know cant start (PP)
Huge mistake coming off last season is not getting that done and its a HUGE issue as you can clearly see...Huge blunder by Masai not fixing that hole and its inexcusable,he had an off season and more than enough resources...

This team reminds me of the 2008 Atlanta Hawks that had Mike Bibby, Joe Johnson and Josh Smith. Decent regular season but not enough to get passed the first round. Hence what happens is they get late draft picks and improve marginally but nothing large enough where they take a big enough leap. Leading to nothing and management smartly blew it up.
The team needs to get rid of the remnants of Colangelo era and start all over. Yes I am talking about a full rebuild where you falter down to the abyss and be reborn as a phoenix. Time to build a new powerhouse of young players and solid drafts picks.
