He was getting yanked because he's not a good defender...the comparison isn't there games but how they are overhyped by this fan base who thinks both were all star talents that need 7 years of developing...

I don't see or hear the same thing from things from the fans that you do I guess

Casual fans hype up Lowry and Derozan over Val, and most knowledgeable fans I know acknowledge he has flaws while still appreciating a young 5 who can play outta the post, shoot 60% and rebound well.

Defensively he's exactly what bargnani was...his fav move is out of ABs defensive handbook,stand tall arms up don't move even as the player dribbles around you just keep ur arms up and hope he jumps into you...

Get rid of that moron Casey and have a defensive minded head coach who plays Jonas consistently in the 4th and I promise you all your concerns of him will be minimized if not disappeared completely.

You can see the difference with Biyombo on the defensive end...he's blocking lebron...he changed shots.he moves his feet and challenges everything at the rim...

he moves so much better and his defensive awareness in the box or in help situations is so much better than Jonas...

great point cuz you can look at film but it won't help you when you have to make split second decisions on the floor...his lack of instinct and indecisiveness is a killer...

you have to know where ur going on the floor before the play develops and he doesn't have a feel for it like you said...

He always rather than help on the ball winds up on an island between the ball and his man unsure where to go....
