Finally found this thread. Rough start, good finish yesterday. Thought Casey would go small more often instead of letting Cj Miles get good looks at 3's the whole first half. Ross got punked by Stuckey every time he checked in then got him back with the 4 point play at the end.

The hole at the 4 is gaping but other than that the team is solid and more suited for the playoffs.

Interesting to see the Warriors' influence on the Pacers. It's a problem when your star doesn't buy in though. George is not a 4 as far as his game goes and he got an awful technical late in the game. He's going to get tired of losing while taking a beating.

In Boston tomorrow, Lowry had a great game there early last season and has a bit of a rivalry with Marcus Smart. And we'll see Amir Johnson against the Raptors, probably surreal.

its not just one game he's had many games like this.
He just needs to be a more important part of the offense consistently. With all the new additions plus getting rid of some others(lou) I think he will get more touches consistently.

His defense was even good last night

How many 20/15 games he had in his entire 4 year career ? 2 or 3 ? Problem with him is consistency he has a big game and doesnt follow it up with a big game...If hes consistent he'll get more touches and i think he will be a bigger part of the offence this year...

His D was good and bad...A couple possessions he looked soft guarding Jordan Hill where he was was slow and flat footed...If he can be a consistent scorer this team might be better than what people think cuz it will open up space for everybody...

its not about how many 20/15 games hes had. He's had plenty of big games in his career. The point is he's a very efficient scorer that hasn't gotten alot of minutes to produce. HE also doesn't get nearly enough touches that he should.
this stuff is already proven. He's showing that he should be on the floor for big minutes and that he can produce.
he can easily be a 18/10 guy this year.

Bruh the analytics showed he was a terrible defender last season every metric points to the team being better defensively with him OFF the floor last year,thats why he didnt play 4th quarters and thats why he cant average 18/10 cuz he only plays 26 mins....

If his D is good and he stays out of foul trouble he'll get the ball because he'll play 35+ mins a night...
You talking about reactionary posts but your lust for Val is pure reactionary right now,great game but over his career hes been anything BUT consistent on either end of the floor...and he certainly hasnt shown up until now that he can be a consistent 15-20 PPG scorer in the NBA...He had about a dozen big games statistically last season not enough of them to say hes proven anything....

he's proven to be a very efficient scorer....regardles of how many minutes he's played.
With even 2-3 more touches last year, he would have bean a 15 16 pt guy.

the team needs to get him more involved like they did last night. He is much more effective when he is involved and not just stuck in a game of running up and down the court cuz we had guys like greives or Lou that just wanted to run and shoot all the time.
