Yeah. Peeped that a while ago. Actually kinda liked it. Another one you might find 'intriguing' is 'Faust'.
It was based on an underground comic book, but went WAY overboard with the special effects which were cheesy as all hell, but entertaining nonetheless.

It's "DeadAlive". I seen that around '94, was on HBO late one night.
Movie is bananas and directed by Peter Jackson. He did a lot of low budget extremely gory horror back in the day.
