Headphones/ear buds recommendations? Yall tried those over the head Apple AirPod max?

I like headphones with a lot of bass. I think skull candy does a good job more or less

AirPod Max are fire but they go through periods where they have trouble connecting to your phone.

If you're an iPhone user, it is kind of hard to go wrong with the Air Pods Max, though they aren't the bassiest options. Sony's WH 1000XM5 and the Sennheiser Momentum 4 are probably more bass heavy.

My main headphones are the Mark Levinson No 5909, but they are pricier and far from bass cannons.

If you tend to pair multiple non-iOS devices, you should know the Airpod Max does not support multpoint. I carry at least one iPhone and a Samsung at all times. The Sony WH1000xM5 allows me to switch seemlessly between each phone. The Airpod Max doesn't.
