Actually the little girl was dropping knowledge. Her actual skin color is brown which what she was referring too. the girl was being logical but the contruct of race is in this country is not based on logic. Its based on white supremecy which a child wouldnt fully grasp. "Black" can refer to people of many races as long as they have prominent african features.Wow, the ending. The little girl wouldn't even acknowlege being Black. Rather she said she's Brown, like it makes things better.She's going to have a lot of issues when she grows up.

it's about the color and texture to me
I don't have a issue with the colors. I seen women with natural hair dye it blonde one month then change it to another color. My issue comes from the straight is better concept.
