But how do you know Hinkie wouldn't have traded Noel by now? If you thought Hinkie was really smart, you'd know he wouldn't deal Jah til June since this year's draft is very low on bigs. He wouldn't even think of trading him now. In fact, he'd play him a lot (the downside is that it would have been at the expense of Noel or Saric)

I highly doubt anyone was gonna consider dealing 4 months into his rookie season though. Besides, Philly really did need to evaluate him given there was no Embiid or Saric yet

As for Nerlens, he more than likely keeps him since analytics paint him out to be an elite interior defender and trading him later is always an option.

It was a big man draft. Nobody was gonna give up a ton in light of how he played and also his off the court stuff

At least with Hinkie running everything I was cool with the silence because he was getting deals done and actually had a plan. Colangelo out here playing Uno while the rest of the league playing poker.

I really don't take Kyler seriously as he's pretty much neck and neck with Broussard as far as reliability, but at the same time I don't trust Colangelo's decision making either.
