I was just watching this documentary on VICE. We have more people locked up here than any other nation in the world It stems from a lot of things, poverty, lack of a support system and etc. However, we do need more resources for criminals. Especially, guaranteeing them some type of job until they get on their feet once the get out. So, they won't be homeless once they run outta that 200 bucks that the prison gives them. I had an uncle who was in the military, then he got locked up for doing stupid shyt Then, it was wash, rinse, and repeat with him. Now, he's in his 60's doing aight Problem is, when these criminals come home no one wants to hire them because of their criminal record. That makes them go back to the streets to POTENTIALLY get caught up with the law again How do you think we can FIX this issue? Because there's criminals who get out and have no where to go. We don't want them to become homeless. THIS is a major problem. From lack of parental figures to gangs that get them caught up. This just doesn't go out to our people, but criminals in general
