You're really only going to make assosociates as an adult, since adult friendships don't really happen as adults have learned to be very guarded people. They've had a friend or several friends who have been shady, and they've learned to be wiser in who they even associate with, much less become friends with.
But, they come about through your hobbies and your routines, just like friends. Just keep things cordial and be cautious and on the lookout for the bullshyt.

all my friends i lost contact with
they either married or live and work in other states
and at this point in my life it's basically work, bills and taking care of my older parents..
i only talk to a few people at work but nothing like hey let's go out and shyt..
my neighbors don't say shyt unless they ask for a dollar or two..
plus u in a day and age where people stay in the house on the internet on dating sites and other social media to meet people. if you black and older and you don't drink or smoke and there really isn't any meeting clubs u kind of fukk
