I remember when I was in elementary to middle school I was a conservative NOT knowing what it represented :francis: Granted, my parents we ALWAYS proud Democrats and still are. However, I was always different growing up. Anyway, after I read up History and became more informed I could NOT be a conservative. With me:lolbron: I just did it to get a rise outta people. Kinda like being in the 8th grade supporting McCain to make people upset. This was my immature stage in middle trying to fit in with "those people" until I start loving myself for who I was. Now, let's go to 2010, I started changing and embracing socialism (making myself more liberal) I guess when I was feeding the homeless in 10th grade something changed me :yeshrug: It made me hate capitalism. Because everyone that's homeless didn't put themselves there. With me, I believe jobs should come back to America like factory/manufacturing jobs. I miss when products were made over here :francis: Anyway, I started seeing violence with my people, hate crimes against the lgbt, and homeless. That made me change my ways. To the point where my mom calls me a militant :ohhh: Coming from her that's a lot. Myself personally, I see myself as a radical. Granted I'm not really a Democrat, but I will lean towards them on occasions. I'm more of an independent and for the people. It hurts me to see people getting wrongfully treated. THIS down here is why I hate capitalism. It mainly helps the elite :scusthov:

Anyway, another point I would like to make is when a kid speaks on politics/social issues I don't take him/her seriously. Because their brain still hasn't developed. Like this kid here, he used to be a conservative, but changed his views.

Also, this kid here is just :scusthov:

Last message is that I stand for rights of all people lgbt, black issues, social reform, and refugee issues. I wish there were activist groups in my area I could join. Tell me your stories if you have any similar ones.

I was bored, so I made this thread :manny:

I ain't got no love for conservatives, but I hate liberals.
I'm not super liberal to the point where I'm PC. That's why I label myself Independent. Because I respect people who have a different perspective of things from myself. Every debate I've been in I've been civil. Some of the liberals on here would resort to insults and conservatives too.

P.S. with the confederate flag thing I was against it coming down because that alone was NOT going to end racism. It would make the opposing force hide their feelings behind closed doors. Liberals well most was for the flag coming down.
