How would yall handle this? He's been here for 3 weeks and two days. Trained a week and a half prior to starting.

From a company standpoint it makes sense to cut them loose asap.

You've already invested money in him (hours, benefits, etc) just interviewing, background checks, and training. If you don't see him staying at least 2-3 years cut him ASAP or your just pouring company money down the drain.

It takes a while for employees to break even, it cost companies to hire people.
