Investopedia.com is also a good place to look.

But instead of individual stocks you may want to look at index funds. They routinely outperform most stocks anyway.

So I've seen that Canada is about to legalize the herb. I'm in the US to let you know.

Are there any stocks that that I can invest in within that particular area.

You know like fertilizer lights pretty much the materials to maintain the grow. I have a feeling with it getting legalized eventually money can be made.

Am I tripping. Or what

It seems they are OTC, Over the Counter. Not sure if you can buy them as easy as regular stock.

Your first step is to get that brokerage account open so you can do online trading. The fees are killer so find the cheapest.
