The start of the video where the pretty boy nikka with the jewels gets run up on still makes me snicker to this day. :mjlol:

but yea.. this is a broke nikka anthem.

I'm saying shyt happens, don't wear it if you cant protect it. That's just the reality of shyt. It's fukked up, but it's real.

But op u got a Black Man who MURDERED another Black Man as ur avi :comeon:

You would of done the same thing Gucci did if you was in that situation.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
This song always got me hype. Funny thing is i watched the video about 2 weeks ago after not seeing it in so long, and my goodness, Remy Ma looked like so much struggle back then, straight beefy dyke status, teeth the color of termites :mjlol:
funny her verse came to life

"so keep acting like you don't know where the funds at, and i'm gonna show you motherfukkers where the guns at"

years later she'd get arrested for shooting her friend in the stomach over stolen money

For all of you with negative comments for ME. If you or one of your loved ones gets robbed or killed in an attempted robbery I would like you to play this song and tell me how you feel about it then.

My bad I forgot I'm a black man so I'm supposed to support black crime and violence or look the other way.

The irony of you making a thread criticizing this song...

Yet your avatar features the face of a man (gucci) who has a healthy track record of Robbing Black Men

:snoop:

:mindblown: Who are you nikkas infiltrating my culture?????

Oh get over yourself you pompous little fakket. I'm not from NYC, and wondered how clubs reacted to it. It aint exactly a dance tune per say. Like the homie mentioned he catered to the ladies, which is what most DJ's do. So the question is fair. Most women aint rockin to MOP. Posts like yours are why some of you are intolerable in life and live on the internet. Inflitrating your culture :stopitslime::mjlol: like you're somebody relevant to the culture. You're the excrement of the culture and just another pompous fakket nobody on the internet.

I remember the day I saw the Ante Up video I felt sick like I wanted go throw up. It was like watching a murder.

I couldn't believe somebody made a song about taking someone's life in a robbery like that. I was sick I was disgusted.

It was the crabs in a barrel anthem.
The message was if you are a successful black man and buy any jewelry or a nice car that other black men were coming to take it from you and possibly kill you in the process because they don't want to work and be successful.

I'm glad MOP hasn't had much success because that song exceeded all limits.

In all seriousness that might be one of the worst mainstream songs for black culture.

Maybe this is more to your liking:

That beat and hook though, :banderas:
