A lot of this type of music is basically junk, if it were food it would be McDonald's. Have it all the time and you're just polluting your mind. Add in nonsense TV and you've completed the pollutant trifecta

I agree to a point, a lot of guys hear trap and then try to emulate the lifestyle, because their favorite rapper "lives that way," I see it everyday. But I think level of intelligence has a lot to do with it also, there are people that listen to trap for entertainment and take it at surface level and there are also guys who attempt to live the lifestyle
