But poor people are going to crappy schools while the rich get all the resources. The good schools are in the wealthy neighborhoods. There is more to it, but the main point is poor people are poor because life isn't fair. Thinking definitely helps, like i believe anyone can be anything if they just put the work in, but you also have to be in the right place at the right time. Warren buffet said he wouldn't have been rich had he not been born as a white male in America.

but truth be told....education is free these days....
everyone has a smart phone....even nikkas in the hood....
you can learn almost ANYTHING on youtube....and google....
ive taught myself how to fix shyt on cars and motorcycles....to how to market businesses.....
breh i believe that i can learn anything with time and determination.....
my goals are outrageous....and cats would think im crazy if i told you...BUT I BELIVE I CAN ACHIEVE THEM....and thats all that matters
as far as what warren buffett say...he's partly right....being white helps.....but there are millions of poor white people in this country too breh
and plenty of wealthy black ones...so its definitely possible

There's truth to this because one can also consider that the fact that poor people grow up in a poor environment with little ressources will obviously give them an unfair start at life (true) but maybe even worse will "convince" them that's the best they can get, because that's what everyone around them is getting. I've met people (long time ago) who even when presented with free opportunities to travel, study, get training, etc...didn't take those opportunities not because they were less smart than other people or whatever, but because it was so "out of their league" that they didn't feel like it was even worth a try.
Also this whole "7 year theory" makes me think about a book I read some time ago about "transgenerational psychoanalysis" (my translation from french) where basically kids as young as 2 year old pick up A LOT from parents and their environment, and much more than what parents actually show them. There's a lot of unsaid things, traumas, disappointlments and whatnot that are passed to the children unconsciously, even stuff parents themselves might not be aware of (for example something that comes from their own parents, but that wasn't explicity passed down to them). Was quite mind opening and even scary at times tbh.
And yeah the whole "fake it until you make it" is true too, there's A LOT of unqualified people at some positions but who get there by faking and convincing others that, hey, let's give this guy a shot. And once you're in you learn on the job and work your way up.

Lot of people fall in love with the negativity of this world. They think it keeps them realistic and comfortable.
I get that but the rich send their kids to 50,000 dollar a year private schools for a reason. There was an ex school chancellor who said that the rich have access to more and that the poor are far behind.
And then poor people are working all.the time.
And what if you were poor and had cancer? Or what if you had to take to take care of your family?
My thing is we don't look after the poor in this country. Ever wonder why all these start ups are started by rich kids going to Standford? Where is the kid from the projects with a billion dollar start up? That has me thinking

The poor need money, they need resources.
But yeah that's definitely the dream
I'd love to get rich and give.back
And I have a good opportunity that most people don't get, so I gotta work on it.
