You don’t do those trades unless you have a commitment from a max guy

Im inclined to agree but I don't think any team is that interested in Bonga at all...Now Wagner I'm just surprised....I think the Max player stuff may have sailed...That roster would be depleted of any depth at all they could be better possibly spending 18 million on one good player and filling out depth with the remaining cap and exceptions.

Also, what's the deal with KD? If the Knicks are out it's just Brooklyn or go back to GSW? I thought for sure after the injury that if the Warriors offered the full 5 year supermax that KD would take it and that'd be it..

Apparently he's rehabbing in NY and will meet with teams there. They already said they'll give him the full max, I don't think GS can afford anymore backlash and offer anything less. So I think him still taking meetings says a lot. Knicks are still in it.

“[Kyrie] Irving, the source said, has yet to give the team the official word he will not be returning to Boston, but the source added that at this point, it is unclear whether the #Celtics would want him back regardless.”

[Amick] There are strong indications that Leonard is interested in having Butler as a running mate, and it's the sort of powerful pairing that would certainly vault the Clippers into contention

Siakim>>>>Butler in a season or 2.

So why didn’t the Hornets just trade Kemba at the deadline if they didn’t want to offer him the max?
